Job Description Advisory Services Manager will work closely with the Nutanix sales team to drive pre sales activity for GSO Consulting Services. You will qualify opportunities, engage with customers to understand their requirement and competitive situation. You will leverage your technical skill to solution an optimal design for projects and articulate the same through project proposals / Statement Of Works (SOWs). SOWs will include proposed technical solution, project plan, deliverables, dependencies, schedules & delivery times for proposed projects. The SOWs will also include commercial & standard legal terms for offer. The Advisory Services manager brings a strong foundation of in-depth technical knowledge, together with Pre-Sales and scope management expertise, to effectively design and deploy effective and high-impact techno commercial solutions. As Advisory Services Manager, you must have a good on grounds knowledge of competitive offers from both technology and price perspective. This will help you in not only designing the right customer solution but in defending it technically as well as commercially with the customer ( sometimes also the Nutanix Sales team) You must also have update knowledge of Nutanix products and services offerings along with different (not restricted to Nutanix only) tools used by the consultants. The Advisory Services Manager will work closely with Nutanix sales team to support GSO consulting services pre sales activity.. You will also work closely with Nutanix Sales operation, Legal & Finance team to ensure process adherence. You will also team with them and larger GSO team to expedite a customer or a specific sales requirement/situation. Responsibilities • In partnership with Sales, strategically drive new consulting services business to targeted accounts within your sales territory • As a trusted advisor, build in-depth knowledge of clients' business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into Nutanix opportunities • Manage direct relationships with customer representatives for all key accounts • Manage the proposal and work order process for assigned accounts & territory • Provide weekly sales forecasts and management reports by staying abreast of status/details for each campaign and opportunity • Manage virtual teams assigned to proposal & work order creation Requirements * Thorough understanding of one or more of the following areas: Application Virtualization * Server Virtualization * Networking, Storage, and Platform Performance/Sizing. * MS Azure, AWS and other cloud services * Thorough understanding of technical sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business cases, and technically close deals * Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies * Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills * Solution architecting knowledge Qualifications and Experience: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * 7-12 years Consulting, Sales or Pre Sales Experience. Project Management experience will be an added advantage.
